About Reverend Victoria Etchemendy

Rev VictoriaReverend Victoria Etchemendy has a B.S. in Education. She was ordained at Unity Ministerial School of Religious Studies, Lee’s Summit, MO, in June of 1980, and has served in three established ministries as Senior Minister in Illinois, Washington, and Oregon.

In 1990 Reverend Etchemendy pioneered a new Unity ministry in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Originally called Unity Fellowship, its name changed to Unity World Healing Center in 1992. With the move in 2008 to West Linn,  the new name of The UNITY Center was adopted.

UWHC started with five members and has steadily grown to an average Sunday attendance of 100+. Sunday services were held at the Lakewood Center for the Arts for the first three years, and office space was leased from the city of Lake Oswego. For many years, Unity World Healing Center was located in downtown Lake Oswego, Oregon.

UWHC has won three grants through The Association for Unity Churches for radio programming. This  resulted in a dramatic growth curve due to the high visibility in the community.

The UNITY Center now has its own permanent home in a dramatic, spacious, hillside  location in West Linn, Oregon.
