A Season for Nonviolence – January 30 to April 4, 2010

A Season For Nonviolence starts with the anniversary of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi on January 30^th and extends to the anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. on April 4th.  During the month of February  we are inviting speakers from different spiritual traditions to share their thoughts on Peace and Oneness.  Hanny Freiwat will be our guest speaker on Feb. 7.

A Season for Nonviolence, January 30 – April 4, is a national 64-day educational, media, and grassroots campaign dedicated to demonstrating that nonviolence is a powerful way to heal, transform, and empower our lives and our communities. Inspired by the 50th and 30th memorial anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., this international event honors their vision for an empowered, nonviolent world.
