Convenient Location

Weddings on the Hill is conveniently located in the heart of West Linn on   Highway 43, also called Willamette Drive. We are approximately 3 miles south of Lake Oswego, or 1.5 miles north of I-205, (exit 8, Lake Oswego/West Linn.)

Built in 1937, Weddings on the Hill was formerly a private estate and is now a spiritual center, available for weddings and private party rentals.

Weddings on the Hill offers an intimate ambiance. With 5000 square feet on two floors, the amenities can accommodate a combination of uses.

  • Outside capacity with tent on grounds (separate fee & arrangements)

The Ceremony

Rev. Victoria Etchemendy, an ordained Unity minister, Is available to officiate at your special ceremony.

She welcomes all couples who desire a marriage or union by spiritual ceremony, whether or not you are a member of this congregation.

Rev. Etchemendy will work directly with you to create a service that celebrates, honors, and affirms your commitment to one another in a way that is meaningful to you and your special guests.

Unity is a positive, practical, progressive approach to Christianity. Unity’s beliefs and Rev. Etchemendy honor the universal truths in all religions and respect each individual’s right to choose a spiritual path.

You are also welcome to select your own officiant to perform your special Ceremony.

The Reception

Rain of shine, our facilities can accommodate your reception needs.

Inside, open rooms across the front of the property provide an airy, light-filled space for sit down meals, or standing receptions.

The grounds outside, with over two acres of mature trees and landscaped lawn offer space for al fresco events or a reception tent.

A list of approved caterers will be provided for your convenience.
