Our Youth and Family Ministry...Joy, Laughter, Fun, and Spiritual Growth!

In our spiritual community, we provide a safe place of love and acceptance where children and teens experience the recognition of their oneness with Spirit.

Our Youth Ministry is staffed by caring, trained volunteers who base their teachings on Unity’s Five Basic Principles. All Youth Ministry volunteers have a current background check and attend local and regional trainings in support of a joyful, caring curriculum. Our curriculum comes from a wide variety of resources including Unity Worldwide Ministries, current and past New Age authors, theologians, child curriculum writers who explore the One Common Thread among a multitude of spiritual traditions. Whenever possible, we parallel the lessons being shared with the “grown-ups” during the Sunday service.

Concurrent with the school year, we offer our youth education curriculum at the 11:00 am Celebration service.  During the summer, The UNITY Center moves to one service at 10:00 am with fun activities for our youth that may include outdoor play, crafts, and stories.

We support our Uniteens (ages 11-14) and Y.O.U (ages 14-18) in exploring their spiritual connection within and all around as well as supporting attendance in the Unity’s regional retreats for these specific age groups.

Fall Happenings!

We are excited to welcome you and your children to The UNITY Center.

Fall is an exciting time of the year where we will combine story, the movement of Yoga, music, and creative expression with Lynea Gillen’s, Good People Everywhere. Join us as we connect with the first of the five basic tenets of Unity philosophy (the youth version):

1. God is all good and active in everything, everywhere.
2. I am naturally good because God’s Divinity is in me and in everyone.
3. I create my experiences by what I choose to think and what I feel and believe.
4. Through affirmative prayer and meditation, I connect with God and bring out the good in my life.
5. I do and give my best by living the Truth that I know. I make a difference!

We will also extend our exploration of Goodness (God) in the world around us through friendship, new experiences, animals, and nature. See you there!
